How do I use traveleasy?

At the moment you can use traveleasy via the website, which is online available (http://traveleas0.wix.com/travele) or the mobile application. The mobile application is available in the Google Play Store (only available with Android 4.x) or in the online App Store of Apple.

Can I cancel a trip? Is there an extra charge for cancelling? Will I get my money back in case of cancelling?

Will I be informed when the status of my trip changes (delays, cancellations, etc.)? And how?

Registering on our website brings you the advantage of receiving monthly newsletter on current offers or other news. Furthermore, it saves you time when booking a connection, because you can save your payment and personal data, so you do not have to enter this data again when booking.

Whether you can change your tickets depends on the transportation company where we booked your trip. You have to check it on their website with your ticket details. Nevertheless, we try to get the best conditions for you from our partners, so that in many cases you can change your ticket for free.

So far (November 2013) the search engine focuses only on Europe (including Turkey), because the need to have a comparison mode like this was especially great in these countries and therefore we can make many people happy here. Before going to other countries we first try to make our network here as dense as possible.

As we only book the tickets for you, we cannot modify them for you. Please go the homepage of the corresponding transportation companies and change your booking there. Generally, this should be possible.

Of course, you will be informed about any changes regarding your trip. When booking a trip you can either choose whether by SMS or email. One day before your trip you receive a reminder email with all the necessary information (ticket details, coming to departure station, etc.)

Unfortunately that does not depend from us. You have to contact the transportation company where we booked your trip with your ticket details. Depending on them you receive a certain amount of money back. Trying to offer you the best services, we try to get very good conditions for you from our partners. So often, they will refund you the money or give you some kind of voucher.

Payment and Booking

By using a complex mathematical algorithm traveleasy tries to include as many possibilities –including special offers- as possible into the search. Also special offers will be taken into account.

You don’t have to be registered to book a trip. Nevertheless, we recommend you to register as it has several advantages for you and no disadvantages. When you are registered you will receive a monthly newsletter (optional) and as we have your personal data and preferred payment mode, you save a lot of time when making a new booking. Furthermore, as we know your travel preference, we can adjust our search to your preferences or send you special offers considering your personal taste.

Generally it is possible to use all the offered transportation with the mobile ticket we send you. We recommend you to download the email (should be available offline) before going to the station to avoid mobile internet problems.

We are trying to offer you as many possibilities of payment as possible; nevertheless we have to coordinate it also with our partners. At the moment, we can offer you following payment methods:

  • Credit cards (VISA, MasterCard, AmericanExpress)

  • Debit entry

  • Bank transfer (only for registered user)

  • PayPal

Unfortunately at the moment it is not possible to book for pets via our website. Nevertheless, you can check the cheapest option for you and then go to the website of the corresponding transportation providers and check whether you can travel with pets.

As we are in the beginning phase we did not include “families” as a search option. Therefore it is not possible to particularly look for families. We will try to include that as soon as possible.

After booking on our website, you will receive a first email within seconds that we have correctly captured your booking and forwarded it to the booking system of our partners. A confirmation email of the transportation companies will follow soon after, probably within the next 15 minutes. In case you do not receive a booking confirmation after one hour, please inform us as soon as possible via our booking hotline and have our confirmation email ready.

At the moment this is not possible, but will be one of our next updates.

There is an application for all Apple phones as well as Android-based phones. In the section “App” you can download these two application or you can look for them in the app store or google’s Play Store.
